SAWLFA was formed by foresighted people in the face of competitive materials and “under-trained competitors” to collectively address issues facing the wood and laminate sector of the Southern African flooring industry.

This initiative is in line with comparable organisations throughout the world, many of which have been active for a considerable length of time. These high standards are now synonymous with the South African wood and laminate industry.

Thus, the Southern African Wood and Laminate Flooring Association (SAWLFA) was formed in November 1998 to develop an awareness of wood and laminate content writing service flooring and to address the needs of both the local industry and the customer.
